What is Silk Screen?
Silk Screen, or Screen Printing, is a technique where ink is transferred onto a substrate through a mesh. A blocking stencil makes certain areas impermeable to ink. A blade or squeegee fills open mesh with ink, and a reverse stroke touches the substrate, pulling ink out of the mesh. One color is printed at a time, allowing for multicolored images using multiple screens.
